Jätkäsaari III

The noise barrier application was decided to be implemented as part of the Jätkäsaari III pilot. The stabilised sediments from the stabilisation basin 1 have served as a material for the construction of two trial noise barriers in the Jätkäsaari area, in the vicinity of the basin. The trial barriers have been a target for various quality and environmental tests. The aim is to test the stabilised material properties in order to use it later in in some other noise barrier applications in the city of Helsinki.
